Samuel & Sophie - St Etheldreda and Middle Temple

If you haven’t heard of St Etheldreda’s Chapel, it is well worth a visit. Tucked away on Ely Place away from all the busy streets of Holborn Circus awaits this beautiful and breathtaking chapel with some of the best stained glass windows in London. It was the perfect place for Samuel and Sophie’s wedding. After a wonderful intimate ceremony the guests travelled together to the historic Middle Temple to enjoy some delicious food and drink. A few witty speeches accompanied by a glass of bubbly the bride and groom made their exit to depart on their honeymoon. Here are some of my personal favourites from their day.

“Oliver was our wedding photographer. He was extremely helpful from the outset and it was great to plan things with him. On the day he was discreet but friendly and got some excellent documentary as well as posed shots. We are really grateful to him for a beautiful record of our day. Would definitely recommend him - thank you Oliver!”

Pouya & Nadia - Islington Town Hall

Pouya and Nadia are just perfect for one another and I was thrilled to have been able to document their wedding day. With the groomsmen all suited and booted and their tasks finally completed a swift drink in the pub opposite Islington Town Hall was definitely in order. A small intimate ceremony with friends and family some of whom had travelled in from Sweden was held in the wonderful main room at the town hall.. Nadia & Pouya had written their own vows and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place. A short journey down the road and we arrived at the reception in the heart of London’s Square Mile. The Clerkenwell and Social was an amazing venue with plenty of space to be able to dance and believe me this is something that these two definitely had planned. A funny speech about the bride sneaking out to go for a drink by borrowing her neighbours ladders was a personal highlight…

“Oliver photographed my wedding, I think you would be hard pressed to find a better photographer for an event than Oliver. Not only were the photos exceptional quality, original and perfectly documented our incredible day, the level of professionalism and going above and beyond before and after our wedding to ensure everything went smoothly was fantastic. Oliver is not only an artist but just a wonderful person to have capturing the most important of days. He deals very well with rambunctious groomsmen too!”

Simon & Ollie - The Petersham Hotel

Simon and Ollie celebrated their Civil Partnership in the beautiful hills of Richmond in Surrey. The venue was the idyllic Petersham hotel which is just a stones throw from where Turner had famously painted many years ago, and naturally provided stunning views of the River Thames which was quite simply a dream to capture!

A small intimate ceremony with very close friends and family was held in the 'River Room’ followed by some drinks upon the roof terrace-made all the more glorious with the September sunshine beating down from above. A delicious wedding breakfast followed by a couple of informal yet heartfelt speeches was all that was needed to get the party started, before guests took a short walk down to the riverbank to board a boat to continue the celebrations on a private river cruise.

As the sun was setting guests enjoyed breathtaking views of Londons’ riverbank and enjoyed taking in the sights of iconic London landmarks including the Shard and the London Eye, and as darkness commenced so did some serious dancing!

Here are a few of my favourites from the day…
