Letterpress Printing - Cherrypress Chipping Camden

A few weeks ago I spent the day with David Lewis who in my opinion runs the best letterpress printing shop in the UK, Cherry Press.  If you are after a completely unique printed product from wedding invites to business cards with ink and hot foil, look no further.

Around eight months ago I decided to dabble in the art of letterpress and in doing so discovered David’s shop in the quaint Cotswold village of Chipping Campden.  Having seen the work he produces I decided that it would be the only choice for my stationary and started creating some designs.

His assistance throughout the design process was brilliant and I had plenty of examples to help me make the right decision.

When it came to printing them I was like a school kid getting ready to go on a field trip!  However wow, the setup at Cherry Press along with David’s knowledge and experience are second to none.  If you haven’t ticked off invites from your to do list for your big day I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Fraser & Ria - Destination Wedding

Ria and Fraser's wedding in Sicily was one of my wedding highlights of last summer. Set in the beautiful town of Taormina in Sicily, the ceremony was held in a rustic Italian town hall at the top of the traditional 'old town' and featured a family friend's young daughter who charmed the guests by playing classical harp as the bride entered the beautiful venue.

After the ceremony the newlyweds took a traditional walk down the Corso D,Umberto...Ria wowed onlookers with the shocking pink surprise lining of her stunning white wedding dress, whilst Fraser paid homage to his Scottish heritage and braved his full family tartan in the blistering heat (much to the amusement of the locals as clearly many of them had never seen a man in a kilt before!!)

The reception venue was truly sensational and was celebrated with a fantastic group of close family and friends on the pebble lined coast of Isola Bella. A full five-course dinner was served on a decked area with incredible natural light, the sound of the waves crashing in the background and the dramatic hills of Taormina in full view. I loved every moment of capturing Ria and Fraser's wedding day and is certainly one I will cherish for years to come!
