Pouya & Nadia - Islington Town Hall

Pouya and Nadia are just perfect for one another and I was thrilled to have been able to document their wedding day. With the groomsmen all suited and booted and their tasks finally completed a swift drink in the pub opposite Islington Town Hall was definitely in order. A small intimate ceremony with friends and family some of whom had travelled in from Sweden was held in the wonderful main room at the town hall.. Nadia & Pouya had written their own vows and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place. A short journey down the road and we arrived at the reception in the heart of London’s Square Mile. The Clerkenwell and Social was an amazing venue with plenty of space to be able to dance and believe me this is something that these two definitely had planned. A funny speech about the bride sneaking out to go for a drink by borrowing her neighbours ladders was a personal highlight…

“Oliver has literally been the most incredibly patient, friendly and wonderfully talented photographer I've had the pleasure of meeting and managed to document beautifully the most perfect of days… “

Brian & Louise - The Slaughters Manor House

A quintessential English summer wedding in the beautiful Cotswold village of Lower Slaughter was the perfect setting for Brian and Louise’s wedding day which was held in a stunning Cotswold stone Manor House.

After a drive through the local country lanes in a racing green vintage Morgan car, the groom and his best man were ready and nervously waited for the nuptials to begin.

With their family and friends gathered to witness this intimate ceremony there were a few giggles along the way as Brian fluffed a word or two in excitement, but eventually the words ‘I do’ were said and celebrations could begin!

Confetti, canapés and champagne followed quickly and guests mingled on the perfectly landscaped gardens in front of The Manor House, with the day made more perfect thanks to the British summer weather holding up well!

All that was left was to do was cut the cake and dance the night away...

The Slaughters Manor House was the perfect venue for such a lovely couple to celebrate their love for one another-below are just some of my favourite captures from the day.

Matt & Natalie - Notley Abbey

Matt and Natalie chose the wonderful Notley Abbey set in the beautiful countryside in Buckinghamshire to celebrate their big day together. The groomsmen settled any last minute nerves with a drop of whiskey whilst the bride made her final preparations making sure everything was perfect. The couples vows were personalised and heartfelt making the intimate ceremony surrounded by loved ones simply perfect.

The weather was kind and the guests were able to enjoy the stunning grounds of Notley with a glass of bubbly before sitting down for some delicious food and highly amusing speeches.  Once the tables had been cleared and the live band had tuned up their guitars a fun evening of dancing commenced.
